Iva

My name is Iva and I’m currently based in the UK. Growing up in Bulgaria, a small country in Eastern Europe, I’ve always been curious about what’s out there. My first trip abroad was to Turkey when I was 10. It was an exchange programme through school and I got to live with a lovely Turkish family in Istanbul for two weeks, experiencing their lifestyle and culture. It was new, different, exciting, magical, heart-breaking (when I had to leave) and perhaps the reason why I keep going back to Istanbul every other year.

It’s safe to say that I haven’t stopped travelling ever since. Initially, I would travel with my family or smaller friend groups, but more recently I have been travelling solo and discovering the beauty of it. This blog is an opportunity for me to share my perspective with the world, give helpful advice on things that I’ve learned from my trips and inspire others to step out of their comfort zone and embark on new adventures.
